Worked with CCAD’s Chair of Animation, Charlotte Belland, to organize an animation contest where teams of students and teams of alumni had 24 hours to create 30-second animated shorts based on a prompt. Continuation of contest I started as a student in 2018 and ran until my graduation (based on the International 24 HOURS Animation Contest for Students).
Creator/Moderator/Organizer for “A Family Can Be… An OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes Fanzine!”

Worked with Rain Biddle to create advertising material, create a schedule, run zine specific instagram/tumblr/twitter accounts, select applicants, moderate a discord, communicate with artists, create/format/edit a digital zine, and collect $800 in donations for www.nationalbailout.org.

Worked as treasurer for one semester and art director for a year. As treasurer, I created a spreadsheet to organize the budget for current and future years. I also managed our club’s receipts/finances. As art director, I created weekly advertisements to be printed as posters/posted on our social media accounts. For my full tenure as a leader, I attended weekly leader meetings to plan events, weekly club meetings to engage with the community, and helped select future leaders for the club.

CCAD’s Columbus Zoo Cardboard Enrichment Class
Spring 2018 Semester
Designed and fabricated enrichment items out of recycled, animal-safe cardboard for the Columbus Zoo to give to river otters! The designs were created digitally, printed using CCAD’s laser cutter, then assembled by hand. Animal enrichment has been shown to improve animal’s quality of life, mood, and encourage natural behaviors in an enclosed setting.

Short North Arts District Art Paths Project

Created four illustrations to be printed on construction barricades to beautify Columbus, Ohio’s Short North Arts District during its multi-year long construction/renovation. Part of a team of multiple illustrators from CCAD.

Assisted students & faculty with printing high quality digital images. Assisted students & faculty in person, over the phone, and in person in order to troubleshoot/find solutions to technological issues. Recorded information on large print orders and technical issues using ticketing system. Answered phones in an efficient and professional manner.
